Equipment Class
Joseph Pilates designed all of the equipment we continue to use today. The Reformer: a carriage you move by working the tension of multiple springs. This may be done in all planes of movement. The Cadillac: a large mat or table within a metal pipe frame. All mat exercises may be performed here with added springs to help the connection of the body either into itself or to reach more distally. The Chair: my personal favorite. A smaller piece of equipment where many balances or imbalances are found. A great place to work on posture, entire core, balance and general strength. Classes are taught via zoom or in person on any one of these pieces equipment specified in the schedule.

Mat Class
Mat classes are some of the more challenging of the Pilates Method. The series of exercises are typically done without the support of equipment, you moving your body through space in all planes. Most classes I offer use small props, theraband, yoga blocks, foam roller, magic circle, small balls or a towel. I make sure the classical Pilates Method is honored and bring in the Kathy Grant work to help the body prepare for some of the more challenging exercises.

Private or Duet Sessions
A private or duet session is designed all about you and what you are needing in your body. Many bodies who come to a private or duet session are not there to “perform” the method but to learn how to move through the Pilates exercises healthy and safely during the session. We will work with what you have either equipment, small props, a dining chair, a wall or whatever we need to help you connect to the exercise. It is my hope for you to walk away from the session with more strength and ability in your day to day life.

In-Person
In person sessions are also sessions designed just for you and what your body needs when you arrive at a studio. We will work on the equipment or on some mat exercises. All in person sessions will hopefully help you to walk away from the studio standing taller, breathing fuller and be ready for whatever may come you way.
** Please reach out to me so we may discuss where we may meet in person. Many options in Denver.
